What to Expect
The Continental Youth Challenge is a premier international soccer competition designed to bring together young talents from across Europe and beyond. Focused entirely on player development, teamwork, and high-level competition, this tournament offers a unique opportunity for rising athletes to gain exposure, challenge themselves, and experience the intensity of competitive youth football.
Held once a year, the Continental Youth Challenge creates an environment that encourages ambition, fair play, and personal growth — making it a highlight event for youth academies, school teams, and club squads.
Tournament Rules
To ensure a fair, competitive, and safe environment, all teams participating in the Continental Youth Challenge must follow the official tournament rules outlined below.
Match Duration
Group Stage: 2×20 minutes
Knockout Matches: 2×25 minutes
Final Match: 2×30 minutes
Halftime Break: 5 minutes
Team Composition
11 players on the field (10 outfield + 1 goalkeeper)
Minimum 7 players required to start a match
Squad size: Up to 18 players
Rolling substitutions are allowed only with referee approval
